Idee: Sie gilt als einer der ältesten Möbelstücke, die Neuinterpretation verbindet alte Gestaltungsprinzipien mit heutiger Technik. Das Ornament als sinnliche Erfahrung. Uniformität war gestern.
Die Motive sind Individuell angedacht, durch die heutigen Verarbeitungstechniken schließt die Serienfertigung den Wunsch nach Individualität nicht mehr aus.
Das Motiv „Formation“ ist mit einer mathematischen Formel hinterlegt, diese Formel liefert ständig neue Anordnungen der einzelnen Formteile. Jeder „Still“ liefert so ein neues Ergebnis. Das Motiv generiert sich ständig neu. Der Kunde kann mit der Bestimmung des Zeitpunktes interagieren. Beim Motiv „Cloth“ sind die Möglichkeiten einer Bearbeitung manuell, eine handwerkliche Tätigkeit wird abverlangt. Der Kunde arbeitet über ein Programm, welches bei der Bestellung mitgeliefert wird, direkt an seinem Stück. Das endgültige Motiv wird übernommen, vektorisiert und schlussendlich eingearbeitet. Die Fillings sind ebenfalls über dieses Programm bestimmbar.
Der Kunde besitzt somit sein eigenes Unikat.

Concept: They count as one of the oldest pieces of furniture, and their reinterpretation links old design principles with modern techniques. The ornament as a sensual experience. Uniformity is passé.
The motifs are conceived to be unique, since with today’s technology mass production is no longer an obstacle to a desire for individuality.
The „Formation” motif is produced using a mathematical algorithm, which constantly generates new permutations of the individual components. Every „Still” thus returns a new result. The motif constantly recreates itself. The customer can manipulate the timing of the cycles. With the „Cloth” motif, the adjustment options are manual, requiring some hands-on work. The customer uses software, delivered with the order, to work directly on the piece. The final pattern is then taken over by the software, vectorized and finally incorporated. The fillings can also be chosen using the software.
The customer thus retains his own individuality.
